Overview
A speculative UX redesign for NyTech, a legacy IT consulting firm. The goal was to modernize their digital presence, clarify their offerings, and build trust with enterprise clients.

Problem
NyTech’s website was offline, but their legacy brand and industry position suggested an outdated or unclear digital experience. Enterprise clients need fast clarity, trust signals, and clear solutions—which many older IT firms lack online. This audit reimagined NyTech’s site to support those needs.
My Approach
- Analyzed LinkedIn and industry presence to reverse-engineer brand tone and offerings
- Studied competitor websites in the IT services space for UX patterns and best practices
- Conducted a heuristic audit using Jakob Nielsen’s principles to identify common pain points
- Mapped a user flow optimized for lead generation and clarity
- Built a new homepage layout in Figma using industry best practices
UX Decisions
- Added value-based hero copy and clear CTAs to replace generic or hidden messaging
- Grouped services by outcome (e.g., “Cloud & Security”) to reduce jargon overload
- Highlighted trust-building elements like industry experience and testimonials
- Optimized navigation labels and structure for enterprise client needs
- Planned a visual identity refresh including logo and color update (pending)
Final Build
Built a wireframe homepage using Figma with clear section hierarchy, CTA placement, and a user-friendly flow. The design remains grayscale pending a finalized brand styleguide or logo, but structure and usability are complete.

Reflection
This project emphasized the power of UX thinking even without a live site. By treating NyTech’s brand as a strategic challenge, I was able to design for their ideal user—enterprise clients—using heuristic analysis and competitor benchmarking. Once the original site is found, I plan to complete a visual comparison and logo redesign.
